If you like building planes from scratch, I suggest looking into the awesome frame kits of fellow RCG member 3drankin. He is selling his frames at very friendly prices on ebay. Here is his UMX 4-site frame:
If it's not frames, pinions, props, whoop recipes, or the databasing you will keep coming back for these motors... I've bought nine so far, one w/ the pinion for my Experimental Fpv whoop plane... coupled with the parkzone p51 100mm prop and p51 motor mount, this little top race Cessna frame has serious potential at almost no range cost... all the added weight of Fpv gear and extra battery capacity were instantly negated... put 4 in a cheerson cx30 which carries a 750mah graphene battery and whoop camera. I honestly can't wait for the 8.5mm whoop frames...
Great quality and power.
I have just installed CL-0820-17-9T in my E-flite UMX AS3Xtra,I am shocked at the performance increase this motor has given my model
it now Hovers at 45% throttle and it will keep this level of performance
up for almost the entire flight.
I also found that from ordering to delivery was only a few days, I highly
recommend Micro Motor Warehouse.
Well I didn't exactly rip the wings off, but wow! I was able to do all the basic acrobatic maneuvers like rolls, inverted, Cuban eights, loops without issue was the absolute best flight this little Cessna 182 ever flew. That was great fun Thanks! Will definitely be back for more.
The motors I got worked great. I can't tell a performance gain, but I'm new to drones and it may be something that is limiting them. Possible battery power. I'm not sure, but the customer service is great, and the product works wonderfully.
