Durability Issue!

This is my fourth set of motors for my Alias! This is my third set of MMW motors. The cost to operate these motors is approximately ten cents per minute. A typical flight will cost you nearly a dollar. MMW isn’t hiding the fact that they only last 6 hours, but this is the most expensive drone I own. I have more money invested in motors than the drone itself. Every drone from here on will be brushless. The initial cost is higher, but long term is lower. I hate to throw away a perfectly good drone, but in this case I should throw the Alias in the trash. Come on MMW design and make a motor that will last for more than 6... or less hours. How can I rave about a motor that lasts 6 hours? It is as good or slightly better than Alias OEM motors. The service is great and so are the batteries for the Alias. But... I fly only when it is cool and they still don’t have a great track record. I wish there were a great cure, but none exist that I have read about. My advice... buy brushless unless you want to look at your drone on a shelf gathering dust.

This is a company that stands behind its products 110%. I had an issue with a motor I had purchased late last year but not installed yet. These guys not only sent me a replacement, at no charge, but stepped it up another notch by providing me with a complete set of 4 for my quad. I WILL NOT shop anywhere else for my quad products. Micro Motor Warehouse ROCKS!
