AlienFlight "Classic Narrow" Brushed FC
This is a historic flight controller!
Based on the original AlienWii design by Lance (2013), produced to the highest enterprise grade quality standards in Germany.
Every single controller is tested and programmed by senior engineers, FETs are load-tested individually.
- ATmega32u4 mcu
- MPU6050 accelerometer/gyro sensor unit
- 4x 9.5A ESCs, integrated
- USB programmer, integrated
- serial connection for external DSM2/DSMX sat receiver
- bind button
- modular wiring and plugs
- dimensions: 26.7mm x 31.75mm
- weight: 3.6g (without Rx)
- included: receiver cable, JST power cable
To configure basic settings (such as input ranges and receiver settings, you need to edit and compile an Arduino sketch.
You can find the latest sketch here: -> AlienWii Classic Narrow firmware
To fly this FC, you need an external DSM receiver. We recommend the LemonRX DSMX satellite RX.
To use a DSMX sat you must enable DSMX_BIND_11 or DSMX_BIND_22 and the corresponding SPEKTRUM 1024 or SPEKTRUM 2048 defines in config.h file and recompile with Arduino.
It is produced in Germany, with carefully selected components, to the highest quality standards available.
Each board is individually finished and tested by hand.
Good hardware is just the foundation.
The key to good multicopter flight are well tuned algorithms.
There are hundreds of settings you can change on an open source FC. To make use of the potential of the AlienWii, you need to learn. A lot.
If you dont want to learn, this is not for you.
If you like learning, if you enjoy the process of getting smarter and making something, you will have a good time with the AlienWii.

The following historic video tutorial described the basic elements of an Alien Brain. Note that peripherals have changed over time, but the spirit and main operation remained. It just got stronger and smaller.

I ordered two the first one was acting crazy everytime i throttle up it yaws right real slow. When i make it yaw to the right perfect, but the left yaw got a delayed reaction. So, to test out my controller and receiver I hooked it up to the 2nd Alien FC and that one is flawless. No problems at all. The first one had Dark Motors and on the shark frame. Now retired because of the yaw.. I even reflashed the sketch still no go. The second one is using Spin Tech Motors. So i dont know if i got bad motors or the Alien FC is Messed up.
LOVE my AlienFlight FC
It is so easy to build a rock solid brushed quad with this board. I built one in ten minutes, connected the board and set modes and an arm switch and it flew like a dream right out of the box. Much less work than any alternative plus the community that surrounds this FC is an amazing asset. They have informed and assisted me to no end.
Fits perfectly into my build
Fits perfectly into my build and gives total control.
I own an original AlienWii Flight Controller which I thought was awesome as I could program it to fly exactly the way I wanted. This new version has the same capabilities in a smaller package. I look forward to another season of great flying. Now if I can only get around to learning FPV...
